"Area roads under construction."
They charge for parking and there is construction all around the hotel. The road is one-way right now making it difficult to get into the unmarked parking garage. The room is very modern but comfortable. There is construction of an entirely new building right next door although this did not affect our sleep. The staff was not particularly friendly or helpful. The most positive thing I can say is the bathroom is spacious and the location at the end of the LUAS (light rail) was very convenient.
"Great long weekend stay - Modern, vibrant hotel."
Stayed for three nights for a weekend break to watch Kraftwerk who were playing at the bord gais theatre. Chose the hotel as only a 15 minute walk to the venue. Had a fantastic time, the Gibson is funky and modern with great spaces and interesting architecture. Lots of quirky features and really friendly and helpful staff. Quick check in and out.. great location for exploring Dublin. We had room service one night and the mushroom ravioli was phenomenal! We also tried the Irish cheese board - equally delicious. The room was spacious and the bed was the better than my bed at home.. I would be interested to know what the mattress is so that I can get one! Would definitely stay here again and am planning to return in the future.
"Perfect location "
We came up here for a night away & could not have been happier with our choice. The rooms were lovely & spacious with a fabulous bathroom. The staff were lovely to deal with. We decided to eat in the restaurant which has a lovely decor & was quite busy. But would love to see the staff have more knowledge regarding allergens within the menu, as a coeliac I can't take any chances & although these are numbered on the menu & dishes can be accommodated I unfortunately had to send my dish back due to a misunderstanding. BUT this would not stop me from eating here again & most definitely will return & stay again also. With the Luas outside & the 3 arena a stones throw away it's the perfect hotel with a perfect location!
"Ate & Drinks B4 concert"
Well organised, there was lots off people in both the restaurants and bars, but there was no waiting, nice friendly host was offered a choice of 2 restaurants with different menus, we opted for the Hemi bar menu , and my food was just delicious, absolutely delicious, and considering the volume of people I would have excused a drop in standards , but I can't complain
"Nice but expensive "
Good location next to the 3 arena very nice new hotel. Looks like the whole area is getting re generated with lots of building work. Easy access to city centre with the tram stop outside the hotel. Only stayed one night and rooms were nice and modern. Very expensive would return if the price justified the stay.
