I booked this hotel for my marathon trip on 7 May 2017. After arrival and got the info from marathon expo I found here incredibly near the starting and bag drop area of the race! I no need to bag drop at all. The hotel should promote this as its selling point annually I think. Situated in a quiet street in downtown Prague, 1-2 min walk to tram stop and metro. Occasionally have noise come from street peoples. If you are easily wake up by any noise, ask for room not facing street side will be better. Helpful and friendly staffs and every morning you can enjoy hot or cold breakfast. Will come stay here on next visit .
"We will be back :)"
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was just perfect. The hotel is extremely central, the staff are ever so sweet and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and clean and breakfast was delicious. On our last night we had a massage at the spa island it was the perfect end to our trip. We will be back :)
"great location, value for money, super informative and helpful staff"
walking distance to everything and quiet street. standard room is stylish, good-size with nice bedding and bathroom products - very dark bathroom (night-club-ish). staff were excellent with interesting sites to visit and recommended cafes and restaurants and public transport. put us in contact with a good, fixed-price airport transfer service. air-conditioning was poor, but we were told they were waiting for repairs. breakfast was included and was generous. connecting door meant we heard every word our neighbors said, including a massive domestic! need some soundproofing... finger print safe failed to open which was a real hassle as we needed to wait for a staff member to arrive to open it. the tip - use your thumb print apparently. overall a very good experience and would return.
"Freat city hotel"
Central but not noisy or busy, very nice room, super friendly staff, nice and satisfying breakfast, best massage ever. Very close to cuty center and to all kinds of trasportation. Great Italian restorant next door. Highly recommended for couples.
This is a well located boutique hotel, with good size rooms in a quiet street within walking distance to key points or the extensive tram network. The included breakfast was good with a number of hot items they will cook for free upon request. Is an older building but modernised into a more funky style. We had sangria and tapas in the bar one afternoon which were of excellent quality. Special mention to the ladies on the front desk who couldn't have been more helpful with any of our requests. The negative for us was the aircon in our room wasn't operating at 100% so we couldn't get the room down to a temperature that made it completely comfortable for sleeping, no matter how low we set it. This would be a real issue in summer. The beds and pillows weren't ideal for us but accept this is personal taste. The curtains are also not big enough to completely cover the windows so light is an issue in the morning. Would recommend. As an aside beware of the taxi rip off at the train station. There seems to be a sanctioned cartel where a fixed price if offered, for us 20 euro for a 5 minute ride to our hotel. We bartered down but you should try and find the place where metered taxis are offered. I'm not sure the one we used was genuine notwithstanding they had a taxi sign and were within the station precinct. This is an issue for the government.
