The Michelangelo Hotel rises in one of New York's unbeatable locations, a few steps from Times Square, the Theatre District, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Centre, Fifth Avenue and Central Park.
Excellent hotel. Executive King room was lovely. All staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was very nice. Location for us was brilliant. Right near Times Square, lots of places in nearby walking distance. Located round the corner from a hop on bus stop for the longer trips. Would highly recommend and stay again.Comment of B. Excellent location for Theatres, shopping, Central Park and museums. Enjoyed the 'light bites'.Comment of B. Richard , United Kingdom the 2014-11-18
For the temperature outside being in the low 30s we had to use the AC to cool the room. Other than that small issue the hotel was absolutely wonderful! We will return on future trips to NYC!Comment of E. Lauren , United States the 2014-11-05
Great location, lovely large rooms, good service!Comment of K. Adam , United Kingdom the 2014-10-28
A welcoming and efficient staff. Quick to respond to any request. A great location on the edge of the theater district. Great selection and range of restaurants in easy walking distance of hotel whether you want a diversity of street food, delicatessen, or upscale dining experience. A quiet oasis in the midst of all the New York noise and action.Comment of L. Maury , United States the 2014-09-12
This hotel is in a very convenient location for attending a Broadway performance. The rooms are clean and large. The bedding and mattresses are all excellent quality, but upholstered furniture in the room and throughout the hotel is tired and showing wear. Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. Where this hotel falls short is in providing amenities to guests paying full price and an additional daily residence fee. The "residence fee" is supposed to offset costs incurred for services used at the hotel, but seems to be geared toward drawing you in to spend additional money on hotel expenses. I "saved" around $20 on my bar tab after spending over $180. You would think a couple of bottles of complimentary water would be provided daily in your room, but this hotel seems driven to get every extra nickel and dime out of you. In room snack and beverage prices are exorbitant, which is normal for most hotels. But quality 5 star hotels provide services and amenities included in the price of your stay. If you are getting a discount due to a partnership with the hotel, the discounted price might be worth it. If you are not getting a discount for a partnership or a good review...your money would probably be spent better elsewhere.
It was a great stay at The Michelangelo - as always. The staff and the hotel were all excellent. There's a reason why we always stay at The Michelangelo and that's the amazing service and great rooms!
"Best weekend ever!"
The Michelangelo Hotel did everything they could to help to make our stay in New York City great! We were there to see "Miss Saigon" and spend some mother/daughters time together. The Michelangelo was the perfect place to do this. We were ale to walk everywhere which we loved. The hotel staff is wonderful and welcoming. We were always greeted with smiles and welcoming words. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and also afforded us a view of nightlife and sounds of 7th Avenue. I would for here again.
Our room was fantastic and huge for Manhattan. Close to everything we came for. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was charming and clean. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome.
"Lovely midtown hotel"
Beautiful hotel in midtown. Friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely lobby and lounge is like a jewel box. Guest rooms are exquisite. We have retuned to this hotel many, many times and intend to do so again.
