"great hotel, but I still prefer Trident"
I wat interested to see how is the number 1 hotel in Gurgaon comparing with number 2 - Trident. The two hotels are owned by the same company and they are sharing a fence and ammenities. I was in Trident 4 months ago, and now was time for Oberoi. The rooms were bigger and definitely gorgeous. I hat a special closet for my clothers, a bath tub with a TV and enormous room. At the same time I preferred Trident for the personal attention. The people working in Trident make you feel special! Mohid at the lobby, Aarti at the Trident's pool made our visit to Trident restaurant and swimming pool a lot better that the one in Oberoi. At Trident was possible to stay and have a dinner out, even to drink something at the swimming pool. At Oberoi when we tried to go out at night at the swimming pool, we were asked to leave since it was closed. Now if I have to choose, I would definitely go for Trident. Better swimming pool, service, restaurants and even gym.
I recently stayed at the Oberoi and it was a wonderful stay. The staff were always with a smile, helpful, efficient and willing to please and make your stay enjoyable. The pool area was absolutely fantastic! I would strongly recommend this hotel!
Our stay at this Oberoi hotel was for only two nights and excellent. From the professional and most caring staff, to the restaurant and even our driver to the airport everyone was amazing! The pool is the longest pool that I've ever seen! It was also where my wife and I got to meet our touring planner from the Oberoi Exotic Vacations the amazing Garima! She designed our entire three week tour in India and it was sensational! Thanks Garima! We highly recommend this hotel! and Garima!!!
"Beautiful high-end business hotel. Lovely room with all the amenities."
My wife and I stayed here one night during a four day Cunard tour to see the Taj Mahal. We also had lunch here three days later. The hotel is a very high-end business hotel. It does not have the historic charm of some other Oberoi hotels. The rooms are large, well laid out with all the amenities one expects from a top of the line hotel. The layout of the different buildings making up the hotel is a little confusing to the point that you occasionally find yourself on the wrong elevator to get to where you want to go.
I can here with my wife to attend a conference. It's not just a hotel. It's the Oberoi. Truly spacious well planned. A nice drive way. Like a resort in a crowded place. Hospitality at its best. Food with grace. Comfort not to mention. Worth every penny. Thank you Oberoi.
