"High Tea at the Peninsula "
The meal was everything we expected. Top notch! The one thing that we would of have expected was that the hotel would enforce their dress code. Being a high end hotel in Beverley Hills we would not have expected to see someone in torn short jean shorts and a skull sweater. Other than that it was just excellent. We enjoyed our tea immensely.
"very good hotel"
Peninsula is a very nice hotel with generally good service but missing the 5th star. Easy check in, easy to reserve hotel car to go out to local restaurants for dinner. Staff friendly. Misses a 5th star for following- hallways tired and need new carpets and wall coverings. Breakfast service at rooftop restaurant spotty at best. Seems everyone has "their job" so server will not remove dirty dish, busboy must so it sits there. When taken to our suite, no one explained the room controls or walked us thru the room. When I asked for ice was told the bellman will get it when luggage arrives. Ordering a coffee latte at pool took over 15 minutes. Ordering a drink at the bar prior to dinner was ignored and had to flag down a server. Our suite is nice. Just wish the overall service was a little sharper. Consider the new Waldorp prior to booking. Also consider the Beverly Wilshire
"My experience with The Peninsula Beverly Hills"
I had a stay for 9 days in Beverly Peninsula with my beloved wife in mid September. We checked in late around mid-night on 13th and were shown to a room totally contrary to our request made with my reservation. This is surprising for a top grade hotel as The Peninsula. We requested for a room with green and mountain view when we made our reservation. My wife was very disappointed. In any event, we stayed for a night. I wrote to their manager Mr. Scott Berger. He responded to our request promptly and arranged for a change of room the next day. After staying for the second night, we found that we would want to change for a suite to accommodate more of our guests to come in for party with us. I wrote to Scott again on 16th putting forward my request not knowing that I was posing a hard task to him. It was Emmy weekend and a crazy time for them. Anyway, Scott managed to get a suite for us though it was from Sunday night onwards. My experience of our stay at Beverly Peninsula this time is somewhat like riding on a roller coaster. Terrible at the beginning but safe and exciting at the end and with happy memory after getting off. My great appreciation to Mr. Scott Berger and his personal attendance in bringing about such an unforgettable journey. Thank you William W. L. Fan
I stay at the Peninsula every time I visit LA and have never been disappointed. One of the most beautiful hotels in LA, with friendly staff, great food and the most comfortable bed in the world. The rooms are spacious, with incredible bathrooms and is very quiet. Never disappointed with the Peninsula.
"Awesome place to stay in!"
The Grand Peninsula Hotel was just amazing, my family and I had such a great time staying there for our trip. In the morning we could sleep in and have room service anytime. The pool was warm and the view was just great. I would definitely recommend it. It's worth it.
