"A culture of good service, good food and attention to detail."
A magnificent hotel totally dedicated to customer service ,satisfaction and well being. Smart young staff in every location. Attentive front desk and competent concierge staff. Food and restaurants superb. Ambiencef, location, arrivals and departures efficiently carried out. I could not fault this hotel.
This is what you called luxury. From day one when we booked the hotel. Hotel emailed us asking what we needed during our visit. I got connecting room that we wanted. We arrived early so we left our bags and went out the local restaurant hotel recommend. It was very excellent. We came back checked in to a lovely big connecting room. The room is nice modern and big. We went down to use the indoor swimming pool. The rooftop bar is very nice but crowded so it is wise to make an advance booking. I had a chance to try the Chinese restaurant there and I am glad we did. The food was so good. We really had a great dinner there. The hotel location is nice. Quite but not too far. Service is great, staff are very friendly and helpful. I love everything about it and wont miss it next time I am in Paris.
"A Truly Extraordinary Hotel"
This hotel absolutely lives up to its designation as a Palace-level hotel. The Peninsula Hotel Paris is clearly one of the most luxurious hotels in the entire city of Paris and both I and my mother were proud to be able to spend a night here at the hotel while on a short visit to Paris. The hotel staff are fantastic--young, efficient, very competent and consumate professionals. The room we had was a "Deluxe" categopry which is very spacious and very comfortable on a level that one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bathroom is to die for--gorgeous marble, lovely Oscar de la Renta toiletries which smelled fantastic, and towels which were as plush as clouds. (Which is definitely what a high class hotel needs to have and which not all do.) The beds were lovely and the room climate controls made it excellent for a perfect sleep. The hotel seems fairly quiet and tranquil which is also nice. We enjoyed desert at the Bar Kleber which is a beautiful, chic setting with some very handsome wait staff! The orange vanilla creme brulee is a highlight of the menu. All in all this hotel is divine and the perfect place to go if you want to splurge--but keep in mind that the prices are fairly astronomical--but the service is on par for the price.
Not that this hotel needs any more accolades but this is a top notch hotel. The amenities in the room, the in room bar, the linens and the service absolutely what you expect and get from a Peninsula brand hotel. We are avid Peninsula brand fans and Peninsula Paris did not dissapoint. Minutes to the Arc and shopping it is perfectly located. We were greeted putaide by the wonferful Antonie who warmly showed us the hotel and our room. The dinner at the roof top is something you must do when at this hotel. Merci Peninsula Paris. We will be back.
"Perhaps the best hotel experience of my life"
Stayed 4 nights at the Peninsula Paris in November after spending the previous 4 nights at the Shangri-la in London. The Peninsula Paris itself is a piece of art. The lobby is immaculately clean with lots of natural light and white marble and a wonderful art installation called dancing leaves. Eating in the lobby restaurant for breakfast every morning felt like eating in a museum. The rooms are modern with every amenity one could ask for. The location--at least for me--was fantastic. Yes, the 16th can be quiet at night, but walking was never an issue for me, but the few instances where I needed a ride, I could always find a taxi out in front or simply summon Uber. But what truly separated this hotel is the wonderful people who work there. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, there was always a team of people smiling and on hand to address any need at any hour. For check in, I was received by a lovely woman at the front desk and then escorted to my room by a gentleman from guest relations (Geoffrey) who reviewed the room in detail. For breakfast each morning, I never waited to be seated--even when there were other folks in front of me--and when I was seated and eating, one of multiple servers were always available, smiling at the pleasure of addressing a request. Housekeeping was invisible to me although they kept the room spotless, always restocking the complimentary minibar and leaving water by the bed at night. Entering or leaving the building, I was always greeted with a smile and never once touched a door with so many people there to do it for me, volunteering to assist with a package however small. I had dinner one night at L'Oiseau and the food, service and view were stunningly good. I could list a few small complaints, but it's simply not worth doing so as they were so minor in comparison to the incredible level of service and the overall experience. There are not many places in the world I can say for sure I will be back, but the Peninsula Paris is one of them.
