Sehr schönes Hotel in toller Lage. Personal sehr freundlich und gut trainiert. Zimmer gross, modern und funktionell ausgestattet. Den abgesenkten Frühstücksbereich in der Lobby, der Mittags/ Abends als Cafe/ Bar genutzt wird, finde ich gerade für Alleinreisende sehr ansprechend. Für ein Stadthotel schöner Fitness- und Wellnessbereich mit grossem Schwimmbad. Fitnessbereich ist für ein abendliches Training ausreichend, aber nicht riesig, Saunen sind getrennt.Comment of P. "Excellent position for the sights of Vienna"
Excellent position for sightseeing. Rooms were excellent & very clean. Hotel staff very friendly & helpful. Dstrik restaurant has fantastic food, the steaks were amazing. Cool rooftop bar, which is very popular.
One night only...modern ,big room..all the fancy room perks...great buffet breakfast....fun roof top bar...best concierge service I have ever had...sort of a funky layout...but quality in every way. Within walking distance of ATM,opera house,etc..
Very nice hotel indeed, a 5 star property at its best. The bar on the roof has nice view to the city. Staff is welcoming and professional. The food is good and the location of the hotel excellent You wont leave dissapointed
"Unfortunately not up to its pretentions"
A real luxury hotel treats his customer outstandingly regardless of any criteria. Why' Because a real luxury hotel has the pleasure to practice the art of hospitality. If you have visited such a place, you understand what I mean. Ritz-Carton Vienna gave us the feeling that it is one of these superficially luxury places that treats you differently depending of you payment method. We have received a voucher for 2 nights in a junior suit from a United Nation charity event and decided to visit. Despite 6 months of try, we never managed to book any nigh. Here are the details. The voucher indicates that booking must be done by phone. So here we are calling. We were asked to send a photo of the voucher my email. I guess to prove that we do have one. A good start! When we sent it, we were asked to call. Then when we called, it were asked to send a photo of the voucher and so on. During these contacts, it was never possible to find an availability. We told them that we understand that availabilities of rooms for voucher may be subject to conditions and asked them to send us their availabilities and we can try to adapt. They never replied. I underline never. Luxury hotel you said' We decided not to mention the voucher. Therefore, we called and had a normal conversation (“yes sir” “sure sir” “of course sir”) and booked a room until we say, “by the way we also have a voucher”. And the tone was then different. Suddenly the room was not available and we were asked again to send photo of the voucher by email. I underline again the fact that the voucher clearly indicates that booking must be done by phone. At that point, we sent an email to different addresses explaining the situation. Here again, 2 months later, we never received be it an explanation. Interestingly one of the addresses we mailed to is called “wecare at ritzcarlton dot com”. I think I don’t need to explain the paradox. We so understood that Ritz-Carton Vienna has no intention to honor his voucher and gave up. We really had the feeling that they assume that a voucher customer is a 3rd class person with no money who can not afford any service of the hotel and may “go out of tune” in the setting. What we did not understand is why then giving out such a voucher'
"Excellent all around."
After one disappointing night at the Bristol which was booked for four nights, I made my way to the Ritz Carlton for the three remaining ones. Perfect choice for a luxury hotel as it is away from lots of noise but close enough to walk to busiest area. The room and suite that I booked were so comfortable and spacious as well as spotlessly clean with a more contemporary yet welcoming feel and all amenities. The staff was wonderful as was the food. You will certainly make the correct choice by staying there. Just delightful.
