Comment of P. Christian , Switzerland the 2017-01-28
"Excellent hotel except some small details - The SPA was disappointing"
The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. I only wish they could take care of very small details to make it perfect - 1/ They have one of those "Nespresso" machine in the room. They provide the coffee capsule but no creamer. I had to call the butler to ask for the creamer but he said they do not have coffee creamer can can only bring me some milk. I ended up not making any coffee. 2/ The toothbrush / toothpaste provided by the hotel was really bad quality, the toothpaste especially! 3/ One of the hangers in the closet was broken. 4/ The TV was a little old The Elemis spa was very disappointing. The resting area was quite small and basic. The locker, shower etc. feel a bit old and out of maintenance. The lockers are in the common area and there was no proper changing room. I had to just change in front of the locker with people walking in and out (if there were changing rooms, the manager didn't do a very good job showing me the facilities). As soon as I walked in, the manager tried to sell me a more expensive package than I have signed up for. I found that quite irritating. They already have a signage showing the promotion package so if I wanted that I would have asked about it myself. I only had 1 free day in Bangkok and I wish I had gone to another spa. There are so many spas in the area I could have gone to. The Elemis Spa just didn't meet my standard. I didn't feel pampered at all. In conclusion: Overall the hotel was very nice, but I would probably try another hotel next time I go back to Bangkok. There are just so many 5 star hotels to choose from!
"Great hotel with impeccable services"
Fantastic hotel and stay. Luxury rooms, attentive and helpful staff, beautiful surroundings and superb location with direct link to overground train. Great hotel in general and service was impeccable. Very impressed with butler and laundry services. Breakfast was a bit crowded but overall a great hotel.
I stayed for 5 days at the Regis for a conference. The hotel was huge and beautiful with real orchids in the lobby. My room had a huge bathroom and bedroom and a hallway - it was like a small apartment. They offered a butler service where you could get tea, coffee or hot chocolate anytime of the day. We had a floor to ourselves for the conference where we were continually fed. The food at the restaurant was superb too.
"Absolutely perfect :service, location, food, room"
I stayed just overnight in this 5 starred perfect hotel with evening meeting on Rajadamri room on 14th floor with superb thai food, including crad meat salad with green mango as appetizer. Then comes our main dish of chu chee pla, green curry with chicken. The service in room was so perfect. One night stay is in memories for long time in Bangkok.
"Luxurious Hotel at a convenient location"
I have lived there a few times. Reason I chose it was because of its location. It's one stop from Siam and it's connected to sky train station. It's not so crowded as those in Siam and the hotel is beautiful. Service is personal and high level, esp the concierge. You can even email them to ask them to help you to make bookings before you arrive ! They replied within an hour if not minutes. I like Jojo, their italian restaurant, which is one of the best in town though you have to be prepared to pay 1500 Baht + per person for dinner.
