"St Regis ' Below par ! "
Don't expect the standard st Regis quality at this hotel. I travel frequently for work and pleasure - St Regis use to be very reliable however this one is beyond disappointing. Starting from check in when I was given a room right next to elevator when the hotel is not fully at all. I had to speak to a manager to switch to a room down the hall. When asked why I wasn't given that room to start she told the housekeeping was cleaning it. Really ' It was 1030pm - hmm... that's kind of a lame excuse. Then i ordered room service. Hainanese chicken rice - a local dish that's very simple and hard to mess up. The food came cold and the chicken was disgustingly dry. It was so nasty and tasteless. I had better food in food court at the airport. I am not looking forward to staying here for 3 nights.
"Very personalized service!"
St Regis is a great hotel and my husband and myself have enjoyed tremendously throughout our 2 nights stay. During the stay, we enjoyed personalized service and the facilities within the compound are great. The staff are friendly and very helpful as well. Great food, great people and great environment!
Experience is unbeatable. Everyone was so friendly: Alison and colleagues at front desk, Kartie, Chef Adrian at breakfast, Matt P. (making his debut at the property!) and colleagues at La Brezza. Room was beautiful. Service is incredible and prompt. I would recommend this hotel very highly.
My husband has stayed at St Regis numerous times for work and recently insisted that I join him for a couple of days to see for myself what a beautiful oasis it is in bustling Singapore. Our two day stay could not have been better. From a much appreciated suite upgrade (we are SPG platinum) to a personal welcome by Billy the manager our stay started well and continued with this high standard. We were fortunate that we had just missed a delegation including our Australian Prime Minister who departed the day before our arrival. Understandably it would have been difficult to obtain a suite upgrade when competing with that cohort. Things had settled down by the time we arrived and our stay went smoothly. We arrived at 7pm just as the complimentary drinks and snacks for Platinum guests had closed, but that was no obstacle for the wonderful Billy who called the restaurant and ensured we had a few welcome drinks of Prosecco. Breakfast was served in an opulent room until the civilised hour of 10.30am, allowing us to sleep in if we wanted. It had a generous selection from the buffet and a la carte. One small issue is that the milk in the cappuccino was long life. It detracted from the coffee. Assume no fresh milk is available' The hotel is not in the heart of down town but had plenty of shopping nearby for those who are interested, It was a short and inexpensive cab ride to the thick of things so don't let the location detract you. We appreciated a late check out and were happy to see Billy again when we were leaving. He personally made sure our entire stay was first class - from the minute we arrived to our reluctant departure. Billy and his team are to be commended. Looking forward to our next visit, hopefully sooner rather than later!
"6 nights "
It was a great hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. Very sizable bathroom with a tub I used every day to soak my feet after walking all over Orchard Road. The location is perfect. Just a 10 minute walk to the Botanical Gardens and walking distance to all the shops on Orchard Road.
