Nice hotel , great location.Comment of T. Daniel , United States the 2016-10-03
Three outstanding employees that we encountered during our stay. Tim at the front desk, Kathay at the 5th floor concierge and Merna Bennett, who was filling in for someone at the 5th floor concierge the night we checked in. These 3 were very professional while still being friendly, engaging and seemed to really take interest in us. They are a definite asset to the Westin Copley Place. All 3 should be highly recognized for their outstanding professionalism.
We had an excellent night at the Westin. I am very picky and always disappointed with my hotel choices in Boston, but not this time! When we arrived thre was an error in my room selection, and I was given a king instead of 2 queen beds. Tim who was at the desk checking us in, really made an effort and gave us a beautiful room upgrade that accommodated my family. He was so helpful and cared about our satisfaction . The rooms were spacious and clean, with extremely comfortable beds! Loved the lavender oil next to the bed for relaxing at bedtime . Love the Starbucks coffee in the rooms, with plenty of creamer and sweetener. Not stingy at all!I truly wanted to stay longer. I have to say this is where we will stay for now on in Boston. I highly recommend the Westin Copley Place. You will not be disappointed .
Hotel is in a great location for exploring. Near to the subway, near the shops, walkable to Fenway if you like a good walk (about 30 mins). The rooms are usual brilliant Westin standard - massive super comfy bed, coffee machine, great views out of the window, loads of space. We stayed for 3 nights and couldn't fault anything with the hotel. A perfect choice!
Location, location, location! This hotel is perfectly located right on Copley Place in the heart of Boston's Back Bay. Right next to the Boston Public Library, Trinity Church, and the Prudential. Super convenient with multiple T stops (green and orange lines). The rooms are tired and in need of an update but the service more than makes up for it. Kyle at the front desk in particular went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The internal walkway to the Prudential Shopping Center is extremely convenient. I would highly recommend the Westin to anybody visiting Boston either for business or pleasure.
"Beautiful Hotel; Great Location; Not-so-great Service"
The hotel is located in Copley Place; a great location in the business and cultural center of Boston. It is physically connected with the Convention Center, Prudential Center Shopping Mall, the Back Bay Train Station, and dozens of restaurants. The hotel facilities are beautiful and modern. Our room was recently renovated. The service was disappointing. I waited around 15 mins to check in, which is not fun after an early morning flight and traveling with an infant. The check-in agent was not welcoming or friendly; he basically just read a script and made no effort to put a smile on our faces. No upgrade either - just a standard room (they did give us a high floor). My biggest issue with the service was the club lounge. As a Platinum SPG member, I look forward to my happy hour at the lounge. However, this lounge didn't provide beer! If I wanted a beer, they charged $7! I asked the staff why this was the case; they explained that it was a state law to change for beer. I commented that $7 was excessive regardless of what the state law dictates - to which I was given a nasty retort about how this pricing is no different from a bar. This was precisely the point. I make sure to get my 50 SPG nights per year so that I don't have to pay bar prices for beer in the club lounge.
