"The beauty of the Westin"
The beauty of the Westin is that which ever one you go you feel at home the moment you walk in the lobby. The rooms and the beds are heavenly and the staff are up to their professional standards... Home away from home. A great location too!
"Location, location, location"
This property is an average facility, physically. It's the same layout and design as the Westin Cincinnati, implying it was built quite a while ago, and while being made over internally, is a dated building. The staff is average too. Not overly helpful, but not rude or uninviting. They need a little backbone tho as they were afraid to take me from the SPG Platinum line and constantly said "I'll help the next guest please", allowing several who were non-SPG to go ahead of me (why have the line if you're not going to honor it). These don't matter too much tho, as the reason you stay here is the location. Quick access to mass transit, the freeway, and the local dining and venues. Truly the best spot to stay, especially if you're going on Marathon weekend. Most of the festivities are right outside the door!
"Nice view and location, but DIRTY!"
Stayed here for a conference and you can definitely tell that this is a conference hotel where they churn guests/rooms very quickly. This hotel is NOT up to Westin standards. The room was dirty and it just felt a little gross. No attention to detail and did not feel like a luxury hotel brand. See photos, found hair in multiple locations and layers of dust. I've stayed at Westin properties all over the world and at other luxury hotel brands and this is not a high-end hotel, it's a basic convention accommodation. Only positives were the gorgeous view and it was in a great location for some sightseeing. Mostly friendly staff, with a few issues around a shipment, but they eventually helped me after I spoke with several different people. The bed was also pretty comfortable. If I had a choice, I would not stay here again.
I stayed at the Copley a few months back while medical treatments and the experience I had was incredibly memorable. I stayed for three months. I was welcomed by Dean Henry, the Desk Supervisor and he assured me that anything I needed I would received. Additionally, I met with the Director of Guest Services, Sarim Son, who also made sure I had whatever I needed. Because I was there for medical treatment, I was not in the happiest state of mind, but your hotel made the best of a bad situation. One particular employee I wanted to point out was Freddie Martinez who works with room service. Not only did Freddie bring me my food quickly, but he also sat with me while I ate. I was feeling a bit down that day and Freddie could tell so he sat with me while I ate and we talked. Freddie really made this experience memorable and I will never forget his kindness.
"Great Location, Very Nice Rooms, Modest Lobby/Entrance"
Pros: Excellent rooms that are a good size with modern decor. Good exercise facility, Great location Cons: Smallish lobby, underwhelming bar and restaurant This is a very good Westin, with modern, spacious and clean rooms, and a good exercise facility (lots of cardio machines, some free weights). The location is great, in Back Bay which is a lively area of Boston with lots of shopping and restaurants. The hotel is attached to Copley Plaza, and walking distance to plenty of attractions including Fenway Park and Boston Common. The only downside is the main floor. Both the lobby and restaurant are modest in size; which makes the hotel feel a little less grand. Still. It's a very good Westin, and I would return
