I spend $900 on a hotel for one night and I am upgraded to a room with zero view. It takes an hour to get to our new room from the time that we arrived we miss our dinner reservation and my wife and I had no apology no thank you for staying at the hotel. No apology that they screwed up our evening. At checkout I mentioned this and my person checking me out said we will make that we won't move you on your next stay. No chance here on me spending that kind of money on a hotel that treats guests like that. Poor customer service and no apology or remorse. I live here in Chicago in Bucktown and have no problem telling everyone I know about my bad experience with you hotel. Thanks for wasting $900 and a night of my life.
"Trump Tower raises you to next level!"
The best place I have ever had the pleasure of staying and does not drain your bank account to do so. Feel rich on a small budget! I wish the workout room was free for guests. I had to pay to walk on the treadmill daily. My room was spotless and extremely clean. ALL hotel employees were genuinely nice. I was far from home and I do not travel often. It was really refreshing to have people treat me so nice.
"Trump Tower Chicago"
The staff, accommodations and 16th floor were amazing. The front desk was not only attentive but truly interested in our needs and wants. We will be using going to this property every time we travel to Chicago.
"Weekend in Chicago"
We stayed here with our kids to celebrate the first weekend of summer. The service here is great. The staff bends over backwards to make you happy. We stayed in a suite, which was well stocked with everything from toiletries to extra pillows to sweet and salty snacks to Far Niente Chardonnay (good choice!). The hotel is extremely clean, perhaps one of the cleanest I have ever seen. I make it a a habit of always checking out the rooms before we unpack anything, even lifting up the cushions on the coaches and chairs...and there wasn't a crumb or hair or lint to be found. My only complaint is that the room could have a better sofa bed for the kids as it is a bit flimsy. This hotel is an architectural landmark in itself. And while my husband and I had a nice chuckle over the grandiosity of the fact that even the door hardware is the "Trump" brand, we all agreed that it was an impressive building. The style is a little too modern for my own taste, but nevertheless, you have to admit this is a gorgeous building both inside and out. Being less than a decade old the rooms are also all nicely updated. The location is perfect. It is right on Wabash on the Chicago River. From here we were able to walk to eat at Quartino, walk up and down Michigan avenue, and enjoy all of Millennium park. We even hopped on one of the Wendella Boat tours right at the base of the hotel. Our favorite feature was the 25 yard pool. My kids are all swimmers and having a short course pool in the hotel made their entire weekend.
"Personal and business stay - all was awesome!"
Had a great stay that was combo of personal and business. Staff is amazing. Facility is amazing from presence in town, to lobby, rooms and amenities. Rooms are generally spacious luxury suites. Very comfortable! The health club is worth visiting just to see the views!
