"Amazing Place & Great Service"
My husband and I came to the W after a 4 night stay at a different hotel during a work trip.....the difference is amazing! Best and biggest difference is the service. Stephen, the concierge is THE BEST! We were trying to make the most out of our time here and he set us up! He had fantastic recommendations and treated us like totality. So thankful for running into this guy! Pics show a little bit of his awesome customer service!
"Swanky hotel, missing some little touches"
This W is trendy and smells amazing (seriously), I love how they open the lobby doors for you without fail. I also loved how they put cold water bottles in our cupholders when they brought the car around from valet (it's $53/day so...) but I was disappointed it only happened once when we retrieved the car at least 4 times during our stay. I love the Bliss bath products but wish they had a small toiletry kit with cotton balls and q-tips. No wine key in the room so I had to call downstairs twice and waited almost 30 minutes to get it. I know I'm nit picking but for the price this place should have all the perks! I did like how they supplied chargers for both an iPhone and Android. The rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious, with funky art. I liked how close we were to Boston Commons and walking distance to the Boston Library and other tourist spots, we walked quite a bit during our weekend here. Stuart St. traffic can get a little crazy but it's manageable. Lovely hotel and definitely good if you want to party - several NBA players were among the well-heeled crowd there for the DJ party on Friday night!
This hotel is great for couples specially on the weekends. It's a family type during the week days but weekends it's a little different. I stayed with my fiance and we went to the lounge on Friday a DJ. Was playing and it looked like a club. It was cool to be part of. If you like to have time then this is your hotel. I wish you the best and hopefully you'll enjoy it as I did.
"Great service- great bar!!"
Concierge services were fantastic and helped us plan out a number of activities. Joe Black at the bar pours a mean drink! The W is centrally located to great restaurants, shows, pubs and sadly shopping! Will be back!
"Good base for Boston sightseeing with comfy beds"
The 'W' was chosen as a base for sightseeing in Boston, particularly its historic locations. And the hotel is really good for this, being an easy 5 minute walk from the Common and ten minutes from the Freedom trail start at the visitor centre. There are also T stations close by if you need to travel further. Major shopping centres are also only 10 to 20 minutes walk. Our room and the whole hotel itself were very clean and well kept. The bed was noticeably very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't eat in as there are many good restaurants close by and further afield. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is because of the various noises we could hear in our room which may disturb if you are a light sleeper. The room was on the 10th floor at the front of the hotel overlooking the main road. Despite the height noise from this road reached the room - sirens and when the clubs closed at night. Plus there was some noise that could be heard from the rooms either side.
