"Bad service but nice place"
The staff bell boy and hostess at entrance chitchat another no greeting upon arrival asked them where to get food they just wave the hand and pointed really rude no smiles on faces treating guest like dogs. But places is heaven really beautiful.the girl was bit chubby who worked as hostess. Hope they improve service
"Nice atmosphere hotel "
This was a great experience, I booked for a jungle tropical villa and I was upgraded to the tropical oasis as I'm a Starwood gold member , it was a very big villa with everything inside, the pool was so big and area also ; the bathroom was nice and big , the villa was close to the beach , and the free ice cream fridge . The beach to be honest looks nice but I never wanted to jump in , the breakfast was nice and so much people.
"My favourite place in Koh Samui"
I've now stayed at this place a few times and can say that it is definitely my favourite place to stay when in Koh Samui. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The resort is beautifully maintained (I first stayed here in 2014 and more recently in March 2017). The spa services are excellent and the gym is well equipped, with free classes like yoga, Muay Thai, etc. Namu, the hotel restaurant, is one of my favourites in the world - modern Japanese food. The beach is just ok for swimming, but the sand is nice. The hotel also has a big pool with a beautiful view, for those who'd rather not swim in the beach. I'll definitely be back again :) My IG account: corkytravels

"WOOBAR- Chic bar with an excellent view, even without sunset lighting"
It was our first time to Koh Samui and we were so glad to pop by at Woo Bar for happy hour drinks. Like any other islands, it's a must to visit a bar with a sunset view. There is an entrance fee of THB1k per pax (pretty much similar to Baba Nest in Phuket), where you can use it to purchase drinks or nibbles. We were introduced by Miss Pam a little bit bout Samui, W Retreat Samui and some of their popular drinks. I'm so glad that I've ordered based on her recommendations - Thai dragon & Black is the new pink. I would love to order more, but too bad it was already dark by then and we had dinner plans at Bophut, very kind of Pam to introduce Fisherman's Village, Coco Tam's and how to go around the area. My thoughts on the drinks: 1) Thai dragon (THB380) - My favourite of all, bourbon x sweet x sourish and topped with nuts - literally drinking from the bird's butt! I personally love coriander too, the hint of it in the drink makes me want drink more!! 2) Black is the new pink (THB360) - Pinkish cocktail from beetroot but thankfully the taste is masked with tequilla does its thing (like a roller coaster, as Pam described) served in a dark black sexy glass. 3) Loi krathong (THB480) - Possibly the prettiest girly cocktail, very fresh floral taste where you actually do get some fresh flowers in the magical ball. It isn't the best cocktail for those who loves it sour and strong, Thai Dragon is a better bet. This cocktail is suitable for those who loves it subtle and not much of a drinker. 4) The night in the shining armour (THB320) - The most bitter of all, definitely more of a man's drink where it's strong and bitter. For the price it's very reasonable too. This could keep you up all evening (if you are on a budget!), and it's really bitter and strong! Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side. It started to drizzle despite precipitation of 20%-30%. When it started to pour even heavier, we had no choice but to move from our pod to the seats inside. Thankfully that only happened around 7pm. We were offered a glass of apple vodka for the disappointment. It's really not the hotel's fault, but a great gesture to console us who came from faraway, just for the view we couldn't get. Perhaps it's a sign to return to Koh Samui for another round, simply for W!! :) If you're staying here, make the most out of it. If you're not, at least make a reservation for their sunset bar for the stunning views of sea. I'm totally convinced that this is the prettiest, chicest bar in Samui. Do note that their DJ plays trance music at the bar, typical W Hotel who makes everything livelier! Special thanks to Pam for the introduction! All in all, W Hotel never cease to amaze me, from London to Seoul to Koh Samui.
