Simply, you will enjoy your stay at the Marriott Wardman Park; the location is incredible. The entrance to Metro is 150 feet or so from the hotel lobby and is without question the best method of transportation in the city (that is if you do not have an preference for Uber or taxi cabs). There are also an impressive diversity of restaurants on the block outside the hotel.Comment of H. Glen , United States the 2015-06-03
"Get me to the church on time!"
What a great location for a lovely wedding- across the street from the church! So handy to have a Metro stop nearby, and cab service was at the ready at the entrance. All of the hotel wait staff- from front desk to room staff- were quick to serve. Would definitely return for another trip.
"Relaxing Evening Out"
Living nearby I have had the opportunity to visit the Marriott Wardman for numerous conferences but never stay overnight before. While our plans for an early morning walk to the National Zoo were stymied by the weather the stay was an enjoyable one. The staff is polite and obliging, the room, a larger King, unexpectedly spacious, and the Concierge Lounge service (and honor bar) a treat. Located in a neighborhood with diverse dining options it made for a great staycation.
"Horrible Experience!! Very Rude Employees!!"
Extremely rude & unprofessional staff. Front desk clerk had food stains on her clothing. Spoke with Manager Olivia regarding my issue regarding the obnoxious clerk and he stated he did not see anything wrong with the front desk loud & inappropriate behavior. Horrible experience, Ruined my vacation!!!!
"Outstanding hotel for large meetings and conventions!"
Recently, I completed a five night stay at this hotel as part of a large convention and could not have been more impressed. The hotel design is well suited to a large meeting in that it provides multiple, variable sized rooms, exhibit space, and registration desks. With respect to the remainder of the hotel, I was impressed by the personnel as every employee I met was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful and well-maintained. I dined at two of the restaurants and found both to offer delicious food and efficient service. Self parking and valet parking are available with self parking costing $45 per night. The hotel is conveniently located to the Adams Morgan - National Zoo metro stop and is within easy walking distance to a large number of restaurants including Indian, Chinese, American, Japanese, Italian, and seafood restaurants as well as more standard fare such as McDonald's and Baskin-Robbins.
Large hotel with plenty of options for food, entertainment, and room types. It was very close to the metro and had good eateries nearby. Dorian at the concierge's desk was sweet, professional, and very helpful. My group had to go to her a few times over the course of a couple days and I was worried she'd be annoyed with us, but she became friendlier with each request or question! :)
