The Westin Las Vegas Casino & Spa is just one block from the famous Las Vegas “Strip,” offering you easy access to its dizzying array of casinos, dining for all tastes, and pulsing nightlife.
Very good value. Great room. Pool was very nice although pool smaller than expected. I would definitely stay here again.Comment of P. Amarjit , Canada the 2016-04-07
"A well-placed refuge from The Strip."
Place provided a much-needed refuge from all things Vegas. Felt safe, secure, and far from any craziness. Comfort, service, and amenities were great, except no breakfast was provided nor was there a microwave in room. Fridge was minimal and not really designed to keep much. This was a major inconvenience since I was teleworking from my room. Dining in hotel was too pricey for me, so I was compelled to either leave hotel for food, or had to get by with non-perishables. Room had plenty of space--why not include a decent-sized fridge/microwave combo' This alone will make me consider somewhere else next time I'm in town. Pros: Located 3+ blocks from Strip. Free parking & good WiFi. Plenty of space in room, liked L-shaped couch, Liked glass covers on desk and nightstand. Plenty of light. Adequate bathroom & shower. Cons: Breakfast not included, in-hotel dining not affordable. No microwave in room, fridge inadequate. Bed sheets are 250 thread count. Shallow bathtub.
We booked one night at Westin Las Vegas Hotel for 2 adults and 1 child incl. breakfast via Expendia. By check in they only gave us a breakfast voucher for 2 adults. As I showed our reservation, the person at check in desk said that the hotel won't give the child the breakfast, whatever the Expendia booked. Later I received a call from Mrs. Samantha Guasto, the Manager of customer service. Instead of clarifying and giving a solution, she told us that was an issue between us and Expendia. Westin had nothing to do with it. Her attitude was very rude. Also the bath is rusted and needs to be renovated.
"The Westin is located centrally just off the strip"
The Westin Las Vegas is a nice hotel with spacious rooms. The rooms are clean and also fairly quiet, even if the hotel is located centrally close to the High Roller and the Strip. It offers free parking and there is also a pool area. Please note that the hotel charges a resort fee like more or less all larger Las Vegas hotels.
"Excellent location, a quick walk from the action"
Stayed for one night; this hotel is right on a main road, across from the Bally; a five minute walk from the Bellagio; Las Vegas can get pretty raunchy at times; based on our one night, it appears that the Westin attracts a generally mainstream clientele. Easy checkin; on site restaurant food was okay and service was excellent; The hotel was a predictable example of solid Westin standards. Would happily stay there again.
"Great One Night Stay"
Stayed one night and had a good experience overall. I picked this hotel for price and location and I was glad I did. For the price, I really couldn't ask for more: Two-double beds, a nice spacious room, and a clean bathroom - fully equipped. The lobby, as with most in this town, had its assortment of casino games, was well laid out and there was even cold water in the lobby for any to partake from. The check-in staff was friendly, very patient with all my questions, and even helped me when I was such a clod when it came to using the elevator. (The elevators are also key-card, a first for me.) I did not get a chance to use any of the facilities, but I did take time to look at them (pool, gym, etc.) and it all looked in good order and shape. I have to say, when I come back to LV, this is where I will come back too.
