The Westin Las Vegas Casino & Spa is just one block from the famous Las Vegas “Strip,” offering you easy access to its dizzying array of casinos, dining for all tastes, and pulsing nightlife.
Very good value. Great room. Pool was very nice although pool smaller than expected. I would definitely stay here again.Comment of P. Amarjit , Canada the 2016-04-07
This is it! My wife and I have been staying everywhere in Lake Las Vegas, from the Hilton to various Vacation Rentals. This is the best so far. It’s clean, the staff is excellent! Went in the salon ask for a men’s haircut and ladies wash/blowout... Jhon is your guy! I know, all the exclamation points are excessive but it’s good!!!!!
"my go to Las Vegas hotel"
I first should give this a poor review or none at all because I don't want too many people going here when I do... I have been coming here for over a decade, I remember this venue when it was the Maxim...ive always come here because its: 1. off the strip, 2. very small casino. , 3. almost no street traffic. well, i checked in last Thursday, Nov 16 to find construction going on...to my surprise, they are eliminating the casino altogether and putting in a high-end restuarant...i loved hearing that. in the interim, the in-room dining and the current restaurant leave a bit to be desired. food is OK but limited and the breakfast buffet is what one would expect from a breakfast buffet and a dinner buffet which is less than stellar. as for in-room dining, its a very limited menu, not worth me sitting in for. I believe once the new restaurant is completed it will be changed. the hotel staff is wonderful and very accommodating...as I said, I always stay here and if the current restaurant situation is my only complaint then you deserve to give it a shot...
"Disappointed stay "
This is the worst Westin I have ever stayed. The property lobby is under construction with no restaurants or pool. The rooms are small and rundown. The bathroom tile has missing grout and the tub’s drain is rusty. The window is filthy and curtains don’t darken the room. You will need earplugs to sleep since the noise from street traffic is so loud. DON’T WASTE your money or Starpoints they charge way too much for what you get.
"Not What I've Come To Expect"
Good service experience. People at front desk, concierge. Pleasant and efficient. Free parking (in Vegas, woo hoo!). HOWEVER this is not a Westin the way I know them. Dark, dated decor. Bathroom tub grout needs redone. Rusted drain. Peeling paint in the sink (I guess it was refreshed') Phone in room not working. The scrambled eggs at the buffet had consistency like made from instant mix. Westin St Francis, Westin South Coast Plaza, Westin Fort Lauderdale are all way above this in caliber. Sadly, I would not return here.
"Las Vegas rock and roll half marathon "
A couple of blocks off middle of strip. If you want a place away from all the smoke and hustle this is the place. Super service, great bar, restaurant, fitness center spa. Ate breakfast every morning were there. Got a massage the day after the run. Just live the places stay with them every where we go. And it’s a short walk or shorter rail ride to any where on the strip. Here’s a pic from our room
