"Nice Hotel, Great location"
We spent 1 night at the hotel before our cruise. We were placed on the tenth floor south tower. The view was nothing spectacular, just overlooking the sides of other buildings. The room had 2 full/queen size beds (very small). The refrigerator came stocked as well as snacks. However there was no price list. The room was nice and clean and have no complaint. The staff at the front desk was nice and courteous as well as the men in the drive up area. Overall we were pleased with the hotel but not necessarily impressed enough to be a repeat customer.
"Checks all the boxes for a business trip"
This hotel has two towers. The elevators were the biggest issue. Bit slow. Nice , clean rooms. Well stocked for a business hotel. Nice work out area that is 24 hours. Ate in the casual restaurant in the lobby and had two good meals. One very nice salad and a good burger. Large selection of burgers. Decent wine and beer. Lobby bar seemed nice but did not stop there. Good location for SLU, and downtown. Most things walkable. Will use again..
"Relish to the Rescue!"
What started off looking like a very bad start to our day, turned into a fantastic breakfast in the sunroom at Relish restaurant at the Westin! We were unable to get a room reservation at the Westin Hotel in Seattle for our annual end of school year trip with our granddaughter. The location and the pool at the Westin are much loved by her. Instead, we ended up at the Marriott Seattle Waterfront. When we checked in, the person who took care of us at reception gave us coupons for breakfast in the Marriott's Hook and Plow restaurant. When we went to the Hook and Plow, we were offered very small high top in the bar - with 10 year old granddaughter. No thanks!! Half the tables in the restaurant were empty, but "reserved." No thanks!! Besides, we had already experienced the perfectly mediocre food and service at this restaurant the day before. I simply don't understand why an experienced employee would offer breakfast coupons, without stating that a reservation would be required. And we are paying $650 for our room! Grabbed a Lyft to Westin/Relish where we were taken care of by Natalja. Natalja is simply the most thoughtful, attentive, caring server on Earth! The breakfast buffet was fresh, healthy , and beautiful. Natalja suggested the buffet, and then took the trouble to make sure that we had a great experience. She even offered to have the chef cook fresh eggs, if scrambled was not our preference. So, I was served a pair of hot, perfectly prepared eggs. She also took an active interest in our granddaughter and her needs. We have traveled all over the world, and never experienced anything that was the equal of this morning's breakfast in terms of personal service! Boo! Marriott. Yea! Westin!
This is a very luxurious hotel. The beds are very comfortable and there is an excellent breakfast buffet. I enjoyed being within walking distance of several local coffee shops and woke up every morning and walked to the coffee shops. We were able to walk to Pike's Market and other shopping and restaurants. The hotel is also close to the monorail and we were able to get on and go to the Space Needle in a matter of minutes. Excellent staff at the hotel.I would choose this hotel again.
"Good hotel in a great location"
Once you get over the incredible price tag of downtown hotels in Seattle in summer you will realize the Seattle Westin is a good hotel for the price. Rooms are clean and large with comfortable beds. Location is great. Walked with our 7yo to the marketplace and back with no problem...about 7 minutes each way. Check in was quick and efficient but we came in at around 8pm. We did experience the elevator issue once during our stay with the north, not south tower (I asked not to be placed there because of the reviews I read here), elevators. It was around 11am on a Saturday and it took a good 10 minutes or so to get an elevator. We had no problem an hour later. It cost us about $30 for an UberX from the airport to this hotel. Didn't really use the amenities as it was only an overnight stay. Room was quite, had no issues with noise on a Saturday night. Overall a pleasant stay.
