Guests simply have to pass under the Walt Disney World sign to find the resort nestled amongst the Bonnet Creeks. Walt Disney World surrounds the hotel on three sides. Restaurants can be found in Downtown Disney, and bars and nightclubs can be found on Pleasure Island, each just around a 5-minute drive away. The centre of Lake Buena Vista is also just a few minutes away by car. The shops at the Orlando Premium Outlet are a 10-minute drive away, and Orlando itself is a 25-minute drive away.
Really enjoyed the grounds. All the different pools and places to eat within small walking distance was really great. The only negative...I would have like to have a microwave in the room, without having to ask for it in advance. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back for our next travels.Comment of F. amazing amenities! the lake boardwalk was a real treat to walk and the lake has Koe fish! it was special that the property gives permission for all guest from time share and hotel guest to share all the pool areas.Comment of F. Marjory , United States the 2016-06-17
Perfect stay at a beautiful resort. I chose this hotel over the Disney World Resorts mainly because of the price. I got a great deal for our four night stay. The hotel was very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds. Very polite staff. They gave my daughter a complimentary dessert trio and a personalized birthday card which made her feel so special! The amenities are endless. 24 hr room service, five different pools on site, lazy rivers, free shuttles to Disney World daily. Staying at this hotel also allowed us stay at Disney during the extra magic hours. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this hotel. I'd stay here every single time I'm in OrlandoComment of B. "Should have been titled "The Trip From Hell" but turned out alright!"
I had just recently gotten over a really bad case of the flu - had to travel to Florida from Arizona due to business constraints and was really NOT looking forward to the trip. The hotel made up tor that! Boy Howdy! And then some... Two weeks spent at the location and everything went really well! The Concierge was likewise very accommodating when I needed to ship a box back to the house... First-rate service all around! I'm not a Wyndham Rewards Member and yet they treated me with respect!.
My husband and I stayed here for a conference in August and had a nice time. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was decent and I really liked the decor and style of the lobby and common area. The room was fine, nothing to write home about, but not bad. The drinks at the poolside bar were good and I found most of the food there to be a little better than your average hotel food. Only one word of warning, the muffins at breakfast were terrible! Literally one of the worst things I've ever tasted. My husband agreed. But avoid those, and everything else is pretty good.
Requested a room overlooking the lake, and we received a room overlooking the driveway to the office where the noise of incoming and outgoing vehicles plus bright lights kept us awake. The room was dirty (used q-tips, used tissues, and bracelet from previous occupant) The resort website advertised bathrobes and name brand soap and shampoos. There were no robes and only enough soap and shampoo for one person. The carpet had holes from wear and tear. We asked about what was aviable for use by guests at the spa and the person who brought our stuff to the room said, "they are a third party. You will have to ask them." We reported all of this at checkout including showing pictures of the room''s condition. The person at the check out counter did not apologize or even acknowledge our comments. The person merely said, "you are all checked out." We used rewards points from nearly 2.5 years worth of hotel stays we expected a resort quality stay. We would have done better saving our points and staying at a budget hotel.
The property is beatiful! I loved being on the grounds and walking the path around the lake. The vibe was so tranquil. I love the fact that there is a lazy river, but I didn't get a chance to try because my stay short and business related. I ennoyes the breakfast buffet in the restaurant on the lower level where the service was very attentive and the omelette chef was especially so that morning. I just had a great overall experience and would love to return, strictly for pleasure this time.
"Over-exceed Our Expectations"
Last minute find after being unhappy and checking out of our first hotel. This place was BEAUTIFUL! From the rooms, to the pools/lazy rivers, and the fireworks at night - our family will definitely be back!
