"Great TIme in San Antonio Riverwalk!"
We were in a family birthday celebration and Wyndham made it enjoyable. Everyone from the front desk person to the person in the gift shop were very friendly and kind. I was very surprised when I got to my room and the maid left my toothpaste and toothbrush lined up in a towel! That was very sweet and unexpected! Thank you Wyndham for a wonderful stay!
"What are all these people doing here'"
I generally had a sense from most of my interactions from the phone to the front desk to the restaurant that most of your employees were stunned that there were customers there. It was as if my presence and the presence of other guests was an inconvenience to them. Repeated calls to request payment by a credit card that would not be at the hotel site were ignored. When I checked in, I had to speak to a manager who eventually addressed the matter. Having someone many miles away go through the effort of faxing, rather than me taking care of that before my departure is something that everyone involved found to be an unnecessary inconvenience. Taking care of such an important matter at such a late date was very unsatisfactory to me, especially in light of the numerous calls to attempt to address this. When asking about a refrigerator, I felt as though it was appalling that I'd make such a request.
We were a little let down with this hotel and little things like no pen in the room when the Lobby Receptionist asked us if we had one nearby to write down what she was going to tell us. There was none in the room at all. One bottle of water left for FREE to the 2 of us. Come on Wyndham, spring for 2 free bottles. No where to put your toiletries while IN the shower. You can hear every flushing toilet in the hotel through the walls. Musty smell, blah, blah, blah...none of which matters. We used an employee discount, otherwise, we would not have been happy.
"A very service oriented hotel"
We had our annual convention at the Wyndham San Antonio Riverwalk hotel. Everything went very well and the service we received was great. From the bell stand to the front desk to all of the staff that serviced our group, we were well taken care of. I would recommend this hotel to any event planner. The food was also great and it is hard to please all of the vegans, vegetarians to the gluten-free attendees that we had!

Very nice hotel. Cleaning services was extremely prompt and kind!!! I think they should use new comforters each time they clean the room, but I will stay there again. I'm sure they change the comforters after each guess.
