"What a disappointment"
I am pretty astonished to read all the good reviews on this hotel: do people know what a 5-star - SLH recognised - hotel should be at all' I stayed 3 nights in this hotel where the message is ‘back to simplicity’ but this should not be at the price of comfort and service. People should know the hotel is really tired: how come you lock your 5-star room with a pad' Room smells humidity and matress is old. Bathroom has hot water from time to time and is down to basic. There is no beach towel service, everyday I had to pick my own beach towel and place it myself. Gardens are not maintained with floor tiles broken and not replaced. Restaurant offer consists of 2 restaurants and given the greasy menus you are handed the menu does not change often and the food was really average. Whilst nice, staff is laid back not efficient and probably not well trained. Sorry looks like a 3-star hotel to me not more although prices don’t match!
We stayed at Zeavola from 10-14 November in a Garden villa on a hill which was divine. Being at one with nature in this beautifully designed resort was relaxing and peaceful. The villa was big, luxurious yet simple with elegant pieces of furniture and has everything that you need. Walking around everywhere in bare feet was liberating. The beach is stunning, staff were excellent and it was so carefree and easy. Very special place, you’re immersed in nature and there’s not many hotels like this in the world. We will return. "Pleasant and relaxing stay"
My husband and I stayed at Zeavola for a week. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the chance to be barefoot at all times. Our room was lovely, even though, being immersed in the nature of course you will find insects from time to time. Both the room and the other areas were very clean, and the staff was very kind. Some of them did have poor English, so communication was sometimes difficult. The restaurant was nice, we enjoyed dining on the beach under the stars. On some evenings, there was a theme buffet (Asian, Grill buffet for instance). We loved the Asian, and the Seafood by gram buffet. The grill buffet could be improved (when we arrived, 8 pm, almost all fish was gone), meaning that the guests should be able to choose what they would like to be grilled. Do not miss the spa treatments and the diving center, they were great. The only negative point, minor, but still negative was the funny check-in: nobody explained anything about the resort, we were taken straight away to our room. I’ve never experienced that in any other hotel or resort. Overall we had a great week!
"We love the Zeavola experience "
We spent there the first 3 days of our honeymoon and it was absolutely great, not because of the paradise jungle beach, but because of the people who works there and the extraordinary service. Hope to be there again anytime soon.
We stayed at the pool vila (approximately 500 per night). I found the place overpriced and service was average. An example of average service is that they cleaned the room but left the dishes from the evening meal. You pay for an 'exclusive pool villa' but have passersby constantly walking by.Forget any privacy! Too expensive for what they offer...
