"Bring the bug spray"
I recently stayed at the Zeavola Resort on Phi Phi island last week. We took the ferry over which provide transportation from our hotel in Patong to Zeavola and back to where ever we were going upon return to the main land. Upon arriving to the resort we were assisted off the ferry onto a long tail boat which took us to land since the ferry could not. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and a cold towel to help cool us down. A photo was taken of our group after check in and delivered to the room later on. Check in was a breeze. Our villa included breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It took sometime to get used to getting to our room as the signs were helpful but yet still tricky. Our bags were delivered to our room. The beds were firm and had mosquito nets should any get into the room from opening and closing the door. It was a very mixed "outdoor" experience. Go to the beach early for high tide. Low tide sets in pretty early and the water is pretty much knee deep for the most part. My only negative comment is that at check out we felt a bit neglected as unlike our arrival. Overall great service and great experience.
"Absolutely Stunning! "
We escaped from Phuket to Phi Phi Island for two nights. It was certainly a holiday within a holiday. The grounds of the resort was stunning! The beach is breathtaking. The rooms were something special. Yes, there are bugs and wildlife around the resort but is that not nature people! The food was out of this world. We never eat at hotel restaurants as we love to get out and explore. We ate at the restaurant both nights. The first night we had the best Thai we have had the entire holiday and the second night we had the most amazing pasta dishes. The staff are lovely and looked after us so well. Do yourself a favour and stay at Zeavola!
"Amazing service at a beautiful place"
Arrived via ferry in a rainstorm but was greeted by umbrella-clad staff to walk us to the resort. Our room wasn't ready so we walked down the beach to Jasmin's for lunch. An hour later, the room still wasn't ready so they gave us a different room. Room itself was spacious with a nice rain shower and large sink, wifi was not the greatest in the room and actually worked better outside. We had a view of a lovely large tree that had millipedes all over it. Love that you can walk barefoot on the entire island all day- there are foot-washing bowls outside of every room and restaurant on property. Enjoyed breakfast both mornings we were there- order the Royal Fried eggs- the sausages in that dish a phenomenal. Spent time on the beach the first day- very nice bean-bag type loungers, and spent time at the pool the day we left. Poolside I did see two green garden snakes slither across the walkway into the bushes, but they disappeared and bothered no one. Staff was very accommodating, leaving extra waters on the second day after we called for some on the first. They provide the longtail boat back to the return ferry as well, which was a nice convenience. Wish we could have spent more than 2 nights here. Oh- they also provide mosquito repellent wipes which work wonders if you're like me and bugs love you.
"Thailand honeymoon part 3 - Kho Phi Phi"
We spent 3 days and 2 nights at Zeavola and all I can say is WOW! This resort really prides itself on taking care of everything during your stay and they do a great job of that. They picked us up from the airport (an hour away) and took us to the marina to catch their private speedboat to get to the island. Once there, we were pampered by the extremely friendly and helpful staff and beautiful island/resort. Our jungle villa had a luxurious air conditioned bedroom, with an outdoor living area and indoor/outdoor bathroom. It was really unique and made you feel like you're in an island paradise. The restaurants are delicious and offer food and drinks at reasonable prices given the exclusive setting. We also visited the spa and enjoyed an amazing aromatherapy massage. They provide snorkeling and kayaking gear for free, and have a variety of excursions you can go on as well. They really do take care of everything here, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!
"Tranquil Paradise with Amazing Amenities"
Staying at Zeavola was pure relaxation and beauty. My fiancé and I got engaged in Sydney, and travelled to Kho Phi Phi right after. From the moment the boat arrived at Zeavola, and the water tractor picked us up, we were relaxing and celebrating. The team at Zeavola is amazing and treat you like VIPs. We enjoyed a couples massage, which was wonderful. They also set up a romantic candlelight dinner on the beach which was really delish and so memorable. We also chartered a boat from Zeavola with boat captain Jim. He was great at telling us about all the good spots we should see, and we really enjoyed our day with him. Do NOT miss Maya Bay, it's stunning, Our room was an indoor/outdoor oasis. We loved lounging on the terrace, and the bedroom has tons of windows so you always feel surrounded by nature. All this, plus the beach is so beautiful. I would HIGHLY recommend this resort.
