L'hôtel Barceló Tambor est situé à Playa Tambor, sur la péninsule de Nicoya, à 15 km de la ville de Tambor.
La durée de vol depuis l'aéroport Juan Santamaria de San Jose jusqu'à l'aéroport de Tambor est d'environ 25 minutes. Vous pourrez aussi arriver avec le ferry depuis le port de Puntarenas (90 km de San José) jusqu'au Puerto Paquera (environ 25 minutes depuis l'hôtel en voiture).
