"Relaxing Vienna Stopover"
We stayed here for 3 nights, after a month-long skiing holiday in the Austrian Alps. It was an easy reach from the main train station to the hotel, by taxi of course!. The hotel was close to sooo many worthy architectural buildings. It is close to the shopping strip, underground train stations and many other types of transport. The receptionist was pretty generous with advice; they gave recommendations on where to go visit and places to eat. There was a business corner with a printer and a computer for you to do work. Have a drink at the lounge too, they were friendly to everyone. The breakfast was a large offering of food that I enjoyed the same breakfast every day. Not too bad, I thought. Overall, it was a pleasure to be staying at this hotel. It was a relaxing stay, the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. I look forward to stay here again!
"A very nice hotel close to central vienna"
Spacious room with an opening window and good view of city from 6th floor. Comfy bed and pillows. Nice bathroom with heated floor. Husband was happy there was a bath and tea coffee facilities in the room. The shower over the bath was efficient as was the hairdryer. Air con seemed efficient too. Safe in wardrobe in the room. Room was quiet. The maid was excellent, cleaning the room while we were at breakfast every day. The staff were very helpful at reception and the barman was knowledge, recommending different wines. The breakfast staff quickly refilled coffee and made latte or cappuccino if required. Breakfast was nice. There were a selection of local bars and restaurants nearby. This is a good hotel with hardworking polite staff.
"Fantastic Friendly First-class Hotel"
We have just returned from 6 nights at the Hotel Maria Theresia. Everything about the hotel is good, the location is very handy to stroll into the city centre and there are numerous great bars and restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly, helpful and always smart . The room we had was large, clean and had a very good bathroom, lots of hot water and fresh towels daily. The bathrobes and slippers were a nice touch. The cleaner visited every day ( although we didnt ever see him/her) we had the bonus of a private balcony to sit out in the sun, good wifi ( contrary to some reviews) and we didn't hear anything from other rooms during our stay. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and the girls made sure everything was topped up constantly, great service. Reception were helpful in printing our return boarding passes etc, and the evening barman was very friendly and good at his job, suggesting some local wines and cocktails, and putting the football on tv for us. Everyone had a smile and a chat, I would highly recommend this hotel, we will certainly be back. Thankyou.
"I hope to return!"
Location: Great! Right next to the Museum Quarter. A few hundred metres from the Volkstheatre U-bahn station. Sleep Quality: Excellent! Peaceful, quiet room, despite being above a tram line. Comfy bed. Pillows acceptable to me altho my room-mate was less pleased. Rooms: Modern decor, spacious & well-furnished. Art work a bit strange. Tea & coffee making facility a very welcome bonus. Nice toiletries in bright, spacious bathroom. Wonderful view over city centre from our 6th floor room. Service: Brilliant! Reception, chambermaids, bar/waiting staff, porter all unfailingly polite, helpful, respectful yet friendly. All had English. Food: Wonderful breakfast buffet with everything you could possibly want. Great choice of cereals, cold foods, hot foods, hot & cold drinks. Spacious, nicely furnished breakfast room with very attentive service - never-ending tea & coffee. Limited menu at the bistro bar but dishes more than acceptable after a hard day's sightseeing. Lovely waiter/bar man. Value: Absolutely excellent value for money. A nice surprise in a major tourist city. Cleanliness: Faultless. Other: Free Wi-fi in our room. Internet room on ground floor with several PCs & a free-to-use printer - brilliant for online checking-in & printing of boarding passes. Range of complimentary sweets in reception plus, on a hot afternoon, dispenser of iced water with lemon & lime for you to help yourself from. This was my first trip to Vienna. I hope it won't be the last & when I return I shall definitely be staying at the Hotel Maria Theresia.

It is a wonderful hotel - excellent accommodations, perfect location - right in the middle of Museum Quarter - it was a very good experience! We can not say that service was too friendly; however, no complains. We got everything we wanted! Thank you very much!
