Situation
L’Hôtel de Rome se situe sur Bebelplatz, à côté d’Under den Linden, à proximité de la Porte de Brandenburg et en face de l’Université d’Humboldt dans le quartier de Mitte au cœur de Berlin. Bebelplatz est l’une des plus impressionnantes places de Berlin avec ses bâtiments classiques imposants. A droite de l’hôtel se trouve l’Opéra et à gauche, l’ancienne bibliothèque royale maintenant transformée en Université de Droit.
Mitte est l’un des plus vieux quartiers de Berlin et abritant de nombreux sites touristiques comme le Porte de Brandenburg, le Reichstag et Alexanderplatz. L’île aux Musées, le Musée Pergamon, la National Gallery, la Cathédrale de Berlin et le Musée des Antiquités sont aussi dans le quartier historique de Mitte.
