Posizione
Costruito originariamente in un complesso industriale degli anni ’50, questo hotel divenne centro e punto di riferimento del mondo artistico della città nel 1995. Adesso si fa riferimento ad esso come al Dashanzi Art District (o DAD). Questo quartiere chic e alla moda si estende per 0,6 km², compreso fra Jiuxiangiao Road a ovest e la ferrovia Beijing-Baotou a est.
La Jiangtai Road si trova direttamente a sud dell’hotel e a nord si trova Jiuxianqiao Road. Centro di interesse culturale ed artistico per tutta la Cina, il Beijing 798 è un luogo conosciuto in tutto il mondo per ospitare aziende creative nel campo della moda e del design.
