"Fim de semana "
Fomos ao Barrière para um fim de semana , mesmo no Tempo frio o hotel tem várias opções de atrações muito confortável, opção de café da manhã no quarto.Quartos super organizados e confortáveis. No verão acredito ser ainda melhor , pois tem opções de Golf e outras atividades na área externa do hotel.
the best hotel we have stayed so far ; they know all about service quality and expect all our needs. we really appreciated the hotel facilities and room comfort. We have booked a superior room with balcony with sea view.
"Grand old hotel"
Very classy old hotel. Service is excellent. Everyone aims to make your stay luxurious. The restaurant is expensive but the food spans service is impeccable. Rated only 4 stars since little things were missing. No turndown and towels were not completely replaced. No hand towels or wash cloths. Very quiet with comfortable bed and linens.
"Great hotel "
I've to both normandy and royal @ Deauville, the main advantage of the normandy is that it has been renovated and that the swimming pool is indoor. Rooms are very "normand style" and services are good as 5stars hotels should always be. great place to stay!
"Don't be fool by the beautiful building and location"
We stayed for 4 nights at Le Normamdy for our 10 th anniversary . We are regular Deauville visitors and we decided to treat ourselves to a special place anyhow to what appears to be a special place . On our special day we had after diner drinks in the bar with a few friends . We asked for a dessert menu but the waitress said there is nothing and if we wanted something we should go to our room ( unusual for a 5 stars hotel , I,guess they should spend a week in an Asian 5 stars hotel ! ) Anyhow that was not the problem but the attitude of the waitress was outrageous . First of all all the staff in the bar looked like they where all "15 years old ". Our waitress was terribly rude and arrogant , it's the story of the frog wanting to be the bull . I will skip al the details but it ruined our evening and my wife was in tears . We immediately complained to another "15 years old" at reception . He told us he had no power and someone will be in touch . For the next two days no one contacted us , only at departure time the manager came , listen to our complains , smiled , apologised, ask out of good form what we wanted when in essence he should have not ask but take the initiative to do something about it , he gave me his card and we left . I personally think we was totally bored with us and just pretended to care . Don't be fool by Le Normandy beautiful facade with its airs of " Grandeur" . The bar waitress as lost two clients for the hotel ,ruin our anniversary , upset my wife a great deal and embarrass us in front of our friends . To add insult to injury management did nothing and simply ignore us for 2 days .
